- What are E-Refills by Murray & Priory (M&P)?
E-Refills is an e-cigarette line made by Murray & Priory that is focused on providing extremely high quality refill cartridges for rechargeable e-cigarette batteries at a very affordable price. The E-Refills line also includes a starter pack which includes a sleek, slim e-cigarette battery and USB charger. E-Refills can be purchased in select retail stores and online.
E-Refills cartridges are also designed to fit many other brands’ rechargeable batteries, including 10 Motives, Nicolites, Multicig, Skycig, Vapouriz, and more, to offer customers a wider choice and accessibility of refill cartridges.
Refill cartridges and the e-cigarette starter pack by Murray & Priory deliver an extremely high quality taste and vape experience, and are very competitively priced.
- Which e-cigarette batteries are E-Refills cartridges compatible with?
For the most up-to-date information on E-Refills' compatibility with other brands' batteries, please see our compatible page here.
Murray & Priory believes e-cigarette users should be free to choose which refill cartridges they prefer, regardless of the e-cigarette battery they purchased.
Should E-Refills not be compatible with your current brand, we recommend the E-Refills starter pack, which includes everything you need to enjoy the taste and vape of E-Refills cartridges.
- How many traditional cigarettes is one E-Refills cartridge equivalent to?
One E-Refills cartridge is equivalent to approximately 20 cigarettes based on the calculation that one traditional cigarette equals about 8-10 puffs.
- What is inside an E-Refills cartridge?
Each E-Refills cartridge contains an atomizer devise which heats up the e-liquid inside to produce the vapour.
We make both our e-liquid and our e-cigarettes, enabling us to develop proprietary innovations to deliver what we believe is an optimal vaping experience. We often say our products are "produced from the liquid up".
- Why don’t Murray & Priory sell disposable e-cigarettes?
M&P is focused on offering high quality products that produce a lot of vapour and taste great for a very reasonable price for our customers. We currently do not see the benefits or value to customers of disposable cigarettes in comparison to alternative rechargeable and refillable vaping devices.
- How long do E-Refills e-cigarette batteries last for when fully charged?
The e-cigarette battery (included within the starter pack) will work for approximately 200 puffs when fully charged. Please note you should fully charge your battery prior to using it for the first time.
- How do I know when my battery is running out of power?
When your E-Refills e-cigarette battery is running out of power, you will notice it produces less vapour than usual. The orange LED at the end of the cigarette will also then start to flash/blink to indicate that you need to recharge you E-Refills battery. It takes between 1.5 - 2 hours to fully recharge your E-Refills e-cigarette battery.
- When should I replace my battery?
We recommend you to replace your battery every 4-6 months, depending on your usage.
- How do I know I need to change my refill cartridge?
The cartridge will start to produce less vapour and you will notice the taste starts to change; this is the point at which you should start using a new refill cartridge.
- Why is there a burnt taste when my cartridge is running out?
Any 'burnt' taste simply means your refill cartridge has run out of e-liquid and you need to replace it with a new one.
- Why does my cartridge sometimes become hot when I am vaping?
If you 'chain smoke' your e-cigarette for a long period of time, you will notice the refill and vapour become hot. This is also a sign that you've been vaping too much - please let the e-cigarette cool down for 5 minutes if you find it has become too hot.
- How do I know when I have “smoked” one cigarette?
You should try to limit yourself to vaping between 6-10 puffs for each use of the e-cigarette. This will be roughly equivalent to one traditional cigarette. One of the many benefits of an e-cigarette is that you do not need to smoke all of it in one go like a traditional cigarette - you can vape it in moderation and then put it away when finished.
About Electronic Cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs)
- What is an electronic cigarette?
An e-cigarette is a liquid-based devise used as an alternative to smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes. E-cigarettes share many similarities in the manner in which they are smoked (or ‘vaped’) to traditional cigarettes; the user inhales from the e-cigarette’s mouth piece, and then exhales a water vapour that resembles smoke. However, the major difference between traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes is that there is no combustion when using an e-cigarette, meaning there is no carbon monoxide, tar, or many of the other 4,000+ harmful chemicals found in traditional cigarettes. The visible ‘smoke’ the user exhales is a water vapour with nicotine and flavouring inside, which is considered to be harmless.
- How do e-cigarettes work?
E-cigarettes heat up an e-liquid, producing a water vapour that is exhaled by the user.
- What is inside the e-liquid used in e-cigarettes?
E-liquid is a mixture of water, nicotine, flavouring, vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol.
- What is propylene glycol?
Propylene glycol is a chemical that is often found in many food products and medicines. Propylene glycol is 'Generally Recognised as Safe' by the Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease.
- What are the advantages of vaping an e-cigarette vs smoking traditional cigarettes?
Traditional tobacco cigarettes contain over 4,000 chemical compounds including carbon monoxide, tar, arsenic, cyanide and many others. Over 70 of those chemicals found in traditional cigarettes are proven to be cancer-causing chemicals. E-Cigarettes involve no combustion and there have so far not been any medically proven health implications of e-cigarettes.
- Can I smoke an e-cigarette anywhere?
Legally speaking, the answer is usually yes. However, a number of companies have prohibited the use of e-cigarettes, including some airlines and various bar/club chains, etc.
We highly recommend that you only use an e-cigarette in an environment where the people around you are familiar with what an e-cigarette is. For example, should you wish to vape in the workplace, you should inform your colleagues that it is not a traditional cigarette and the vapour made from a water-based liquid.
As using an e-cigarette looks very similar to smoking a traditional cigarette, we highly recommend you do not smoke in crowded public places, such as the tube, to avoid any unnecessary provocation or discomfort to those around you.
- Can I smoke an e-cigarette when I am pregnant?
No, we do not recommend pregnant woman use any products containing nicotine, including E-Refills.
